Hello, my name is: Ingrid2

This is a precise REPLICA of a 1940's department store display bust that was molded directly from a vintage model. This was probably the most widely sold hat model of the 40's and 50's. This mold is highly detailed and reveals great castings. The height is 15 ½", forehead circumference is 22" and ears are pierced for post-type earrings. Apparel is for display only and not included in the sale.

In my opinion, this was the most popular and the best hat display mannequin head ever made. She has the inherent poise and ability to make any hat look good from the cloche types of the 20's to the wide-brimmed hats of the 40's. Her hair is shaped to accommodate variations in hat sizes.  If I had to pick one model to display hats from a wide time period, it would definitely be this one. She is not a beauty queen but possesses an appearance of sophistication and poise that does not distract from the apparel being modeled.
